Dr. Seethram completed his M.D. and Specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta. He has extensive ultrasound background and training, and is focused in First Trimester Screening for genetic abnormalities, as accredited by Fetal Medicine Foundation. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Seethram is also active in the British Columbia Medical Association. He consults with the Ministry of Health as an active committee member of the Specialty Services Committee. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and of the American College of Obstetrician Gynecologists.
He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the UBC Faculty of Medicine, and teaches in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship program. He has also recently been appointed to position of the Division Head of Gynecology for the Fraser Health Authority. In these capacities, his primary interests are in system re-design to improve the delivery of health services. Dr. Seethram is also the chair of the Genetics Special Interest Group at the CFAS.
Dr. Seethram’s practice is a combination of IVF, fertility medicine and treatment, prenatal genetics, and First Trimester ultrasound.
