Being Fertile Book Release
On Saturday May 9th, the public is invited to attend the official release of Being Fertile: 10 Steps to Help You Overcome the Struggles of Infertility, Get Pregnant, and Create a Happy Healthy Family This is the new book by Dr. Spence Pentland, esteemed practitioner of traditional Chinese reproductive medicine in the Vancouver area.
A Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine, Dr. Pentland is the #1 rated acupuncturist in all of Canada on the website RateMD.com Dr. Pentland will be joined by several speakers who will share their insights and inspiring stories about the fertility process.
The event is headlined by Mary-Jo Dionne's one-woman show, Glowing: A Reproduction Production. The 45 minute performance is described as “The show for any person who has ever given birth. Or been born.” The CBC calls it “A real crowd pleaser.” The Winnipeg Free Press hails the show as “Funny, moving and intimate.”
Lynn Colliar from Global News will serve as the evening's host. Each guest in attendance will receive a complimentary copy of the book upon entry (the Being Fertile paperback currently retails for $23.26 on Amazon.ca).
