This past weekend, PCRM made an extraordinary impact at the 2024 Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) Meeting! Award-Winning Research: Best Clinical Paper & Highest Voted Abstracts
PCRM is honored to have received two of the most prestigious awards at this year’s CFAS Meeting: Best Clinical Paper and Highest Voted Abstract.
Our team won the Best Clinical Paper award for our pioneering research, "8 Years of Autologous Egg Thaw Outcomes in a Canadian Fertility Centre." This paper, co-authored by Dr. Caitlin Dunne, Jason Au, Evelyne Boulet, and Mackenzie Campbell, offers valuable insights into egg-thawing outcomes over nearly a decade. This work is set to shape the future of fertility preservation in Canada, helping patients make informed decisions about egg freezing.
In addition, our abstract titled “How an Online Tool that Predicts Live Birth for Egg Freezing Cycles Can be Adapted for Clinic-Specific Outcomes” garnered the Highest Voted Abstract award. This innovative tool, developed by the same brilliant team, is set to revolutionize how fertility clinics offer personalized outcomes to patients, allowing for more tailored fertility treatment plans.
Bethann Wright Honored with the Carole Rheaume Award
We are incredibly proud of Bethann Wright, RN, one of our outstanding nurses at PCRM, who was awarded the Carole Rheaume Award at the CFAS 2024 Meeting. This award is a testament to Bethann's dedication and her outstanding contributions to the field of reproductive medicine. Bethann is a vital part of the PCRM family, and her compassion, expertise, and commitment to patient care make her an exemplary figure in the fertility community. We couldn’t be more proud of her!
Dr. Caitlin Dunne Takes the Stage at the CFAS 2024 Debate
A special congratulations to Dr. Caitlin Dunne, who was selected to participate in the highly anticipated CFAS 2024 Debate. Dr. Dunne was invited to review the latest data on egg freezing, a rapidly evolving topic in fertility preservation.
