PCRM’s Dr. Caitlin Dunne to be Recognized for her Contribution to Reproductive Medicine
Dr. Caitlin Dunne, co-director, partner and physician at Pacific Centre for Reproductive Medicine (PCRM) is one of the Business in Vancouver Forty under 40 winners for 2018. The annual Forty under 40 awards ceremony highlights the achievements of British Columbia’s young entrepreneurs, executives and professionals and recognizes them for the positive impacts they have made on society. The winners are under the age of 40 and have demonstrated excellence in business, judgment, leadership and community contribution. The 2018 winners will be honoured at the awards gala dinner to be held on January 24, 2019.
Dr. Dunne is a specialist in infertility and egg freezing. She is doubly certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in obstetrics and gynecology and in gynecologic reproductive endocrinology and infertility. It is her goal to provide compassionate and patient-centred care based on a foundation of scientific evidence.
Throughout her career, Dr. Dunne has participated in numerous clinical studies and published research on in vitro fertilization (IVF), gynecologic surgery and ovarian disease. She is also active as a reviewer for scientific journals. As a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of British Columbia in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, she lectures medical students and medical residents in both the Family Practice and Ob/Gyn departments.
Dr. Dunne is committed to using the most up-to-date techniques in fertility care. That is why she has travelled to the United States and Europe to study at some of the world’s most progressive clinics. She is dedicated to understanding each patient’s unique circumstances and developing a treatment plan that best suits a couple’s, or individual’s vision for growing a family. Dr. Dunne represents the quality of fertility doctors at PCRM and we congratulate her on this achievement.
