Jason Au joined PCRM’s laboratory team in 2008. He was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Vancouver. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of British Colombia in 2005; he achieved his Master of Science in Clinical Embryology from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, in 2014.
Given his education and professional experience, Jason is highly skilled in all aspects of clinical embryology. He specializes in trophectoderm biopsy and oocyte vitrification. One of his many research interests is the development of a novel method of embryo selection to improve pregnancy rate. To this end, he currently collaborates with Dr. Parvaneh Saeedi from Simon Fraser University to decipher embryonic images with mathematical algorithms.
He brings great energy and drive to our team. His methodical approach and meticulous techniques are a boon to our lab.
