Dr. Ryan Flannigan’s practice is specialized in male infertility, vasectomy reversals, non-obstructive azoospermia and sexual medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Calgary, Urology training at the University of British Columbia and additional 2-year subspecialty training in Male Reproduction and Microsurgery at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York. Dr. Flannigan is an Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia where his practice in male infertility and sexual medicine is based out of Vancouver General Hospital. He has been the recipient of numerous international awards and serves as the Director of Male Reproduction and Sexual Medicine Research in the University of British Columbia Department of Urologic Sciences in addition to holding an Adjunct Assistant Professor position at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York for male reproduction research. He is actively involved in male infertility research including clinical trials and technological innovations as well as investigating the genetic and molecular mechanisms contributing to male infertility.
